Before this task, I had
never used Photoshop on an Apple Mac Computer and I found it difficult to get
used to the layout and where things were. I am now more confident using an
Apple Mac Computer and Photoshop because of this task.
At the start of the task, I found it hard to use the ‘lasso’ tool and I had to
redo my hair layer more than once. In the end, I ended up changing it all
including the shape and the colour. I’m happy that I made this change because
it looks more natural.
I am personally happy with my clothing on my cartoon self because it is very
accurate, similar to my hair colour. This is because I used the ‘eyedropper’
tool, which picked out the colour from the photograph of myself.
I enjoyed the Opie task because it was something new to try and it was
different to what I’ve done on Photoshop in the past. My favourite part was the
face because it was the easiest part but I enjoyed using the ‘pencil’ tool to
draw on my eyebrows!
Finally, if I could change anything on my Opie task it would have to be the
hair highlights. I think they need to be a bit more blended into a similar
colour to the main hair colour. Apart from that, I am happy of my final outcome
and I thoroughly enjoyed this task.
